Burning Blue
My rating: 5 stars!!! What can I say about this book? It was both funny, touching, and inspiring. It's not a love story, it's more of a story about a girl who gets squirted in the face with acid and a boy who is determined to figure out who did it. There are twists and turns in the last 100 pages of the book that I did NOT expect. I thought I had the suspect figured out and then BOOM. I was proven wrong. The ending really left me thinking, not only because of who the perpetrator turned out to be but also just because of how they all dealt with it. I received an arc of this from goodreads, but I'm definitely going to buy it when it comes out. One of my new favorite contemporaries.
